Introduction
Because your privacy is important to us, all Web sites owned by AJP Services, including MetroText Document Services, operate according to the following Privacy Policy, which forms part of our Terms and Conditions available at http://www.ajp-services.net/terms.html. The purpose of this privacy policy is to provide details on how we will use your personal information.
AJP will keep you informed about what we do with your personal information by keeping this privacy policy up to date. If we make material changes to this policy, a prominent notice will be posted on our Web site.
Privacy Statement
AJP Services ("AJP") is committed to protecting your privacy in every aspect possible. When you view our Web site or purchase our services, your information will not be resold to third parties. To the extent that AJP collects any information from its visitors and users, whether that information is personally identifying or not, AJP uses such information only for its own purposes related to providing our services and conducting our business. Such information is not knowingly provided to any third parties except as explicitly disclosed herein.
Visiting Our Web Sites
AJP makes no effort to identify public users of our Web site. No identifying data is disclosed to any third party for any purpose. Data that we collect is used only for server administration and Web behavior research.
As is typical industry practice, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files on our servers. We log HTTP (the protocol used to transfer hypertext requests and information between servers and browsers) requests to our servers. This means that we store the originating IP address (e.g. 1.2.3.4) of a user agent requesting a URI (i.e. Web page address). We also store the Referer and User-Agent information accompanied with an HTTP request. We do not log the specific identity of visitors. We occasionally analyze the log files to determine which files are most requested and the previous site which prompted the request (i.e. "Referer"). Our logging is entirely passive; we do not use active technologies such as cookies or tracking software to maintain any information on our users.
Logged information is kept indefinitely as administrative and research material; it is not disclosed outside of AJP Services site personnel. Aggregate (completely non-identifying) statistics generated from these logs may be reported as part of research results. Such information is used to better understand how visitors navigate through our Sites, to enhance your experience while using our Site, and to make the materials as valuable to visitors as possible. We do not link this information to personally identifiable information.
